What should be considered when buying a frequency converter?

  • by Jonny Passantino

There are a few things to consider when purchasing a frequency converter:

Compatibility : Make sure that the frequency converter is compatible with the motor and other devices it is intended to control.

Rating : The drive should be able to handle the power requirements of the motor and equipment.

Voltage : The frequency converter should be designed for the voltage of the power supply.

Control functions : Consider the type of control and the required functions, e.g. B. Closed loop control or programmable inputs/outputs.

EMC compliance : Ensure that the drive meets Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards.

Service and Support : Consider the availability of technical support and spare parts for the drive.

We would be happy to advise you on the purchase or the search for spare parts!
